Celeb Weddings: Rebecca & Jerry Nuptials

Blushing Bride to Be
In April 2006, Romijn showed off her engagement ring during an appearance on a talk show. "[Jerry] came in several times to look at loose diamonds before he found a 5-carat fancy yellow oval," Zaven Ghanimian of jeweler Simon G has said. "He wanted something unique." Creating the ring—which O'Connell decided should consist of all-yellow gold and gems—required four weeks, since the prototype had to be reconfigured to accommodate the large oval stone.
They Do!
After three years of dating, Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell exchanged vows during a romantic outdoor wedding at a private home in Los Angeles. Romijn walked down the aisle in a gown by Ralph Lauren and jewels by Neil Lane as a small group of family and friends—perched on hay bails covered with quilts—looked on. After the ceremony—planned by Heidi Asimus of Red25 events—guests dined on blue crab salad and lavender-grilled prime beef tenderloin at rustic tables adorned with wildflowers and lanterns. Instead of the traditional cake, the sweet ending included mini country apple and red velvet cupcakes. Romijn and O'Connell began dating in the summer of 2004.
