GIVEAWAYS, INVITES, BOUQUETS:
I'm dropping the idea of getting Cloud9 Photography for photos. I was informed by some people that it's not a very practical thing to have your photos done in this way. As I step back and think or look at it, Cloud9's photos seems more fitting for an advertisement purpose than a keepsake wedding photo. It's not really something that I would look back and find it nice again due to weddings being all solemn and more of "catching the moment" than just having it look unique and "ad-like". I know it's cute and unique but I believe I can do that, given I have the proper equipment/designs. I'm a digi-scrapper so that should just be a cinch for me!
A Friend's Review on Cloud9 Photographer:
"I checked the site out, most of the pictures are lovely and "Fresh". However, most of them look like advertisment/ model catalogue than official wedding picture. Hehe.. It is fun to take some of that kind of pictures if you have time. " ~LL
I got some giveaway and invitations - see the photos below.

Still panicking (a bit) since I don't think I have an idea on what I would like wedding dress to be or look like. I realized that what I picked or thought I wanted, is too plain or something that I'm starting to grow tired of! I had to seek my mom's advice for this.
I guess designers in Mla have a reason why they can't make the dress too early or have everything done a few weeks before the wedding day...in fear that the bride will not like it or grow tired of having to wear the whole thing so early in the game and ask the designer to change this! :P
I ran into this and this is so what the coordinator did tell me. :)
Helpful Tips from W@Wies:
We all want our wedding day to be perfect but no matter how OC (obsessive-compulsive) you are about things, there is a chance that not everything will happen as planned. Prepare your mind and just take on the attitude that things will be great, no matter what. Breathe in, smile all the time, be happy, and enjoy your moment!

Something to think about - cooperation and making things "uncomplicated".
Bayanihan sa Kasalang Promdi!
In last week's issue of the Manila Standard Today, Bong Austero wrote about his brother's wedding held in Leyte.
"Having lived in Metro Manila in the last 18 years, I have somehow imbibed the conveniences of life in the big city. When I was told that the family was expecting around 500 guests for the wedding, I actually balked and wondered how our family would be able to pull it off on our own without caterers and wedding coordinators and the like. They told me repeatedly that I was being such a worrywart, that relatives would come and lend their support. And they did. In droves."The general opinion I kept getting was that many of the things we do in Metro Manila are senseless rabble-rousing. I kept thinking "this is too simplistic" until I realized that as far as these people were concerned, making things work need not be as complicated as we try to make it. In the words of one public school teacher, "whatever happened to people simply giving each other the benefit of the doubt, in believing that no one has a monopoly of good intentions or brilliance?" I was stumped at that one because I realized that while the idea was simplistic, it nailed the problem right on the head."
