PHOTOGRAPHER & COORDINATOR HUNTING:

Went home for two baptisms so wasn't able to fully meet with all the suppliers that I wanted but I did meet two photographers, one lighting/sounds company and one coordinator.

PHOTOGRAPHER #1
Got to finally see this photographer's works since he doesn't have a site online. He was very nice and cordial even if my mom and I turned out to be late since we were waiting at his office instead of his studio. Good thing his assistant went to office and thus was surprised when we were there. :P
Liked his works and even my mom liked it too.
He was more artistic as what my mom said later on after meeting all of the photographers that I would like. I believe he was also the photographer during my grandmother's 80th birthday.
He came highly recommended by a few people who I trust very much.

PHOTOGRAPHER #2
Had an impression of him but saw less of what I wanted in the end.
He had nice albums but the work or photos or how he arranged it wasn't as nice as the first one. I think there's really a difference in the price you pay in the end and I can so see this.
Impressive stuff...but I guess after seeing so many other things...his stuff gets also to be predictable...when his pitched was that his was unique.

SOUNDS/LIGHTING
Felt a bit rushed with the meeting but was more shocked with the pricing of his equipment ... especially for video services provided. I don't need to make it a big production and have directors for the whole event...so I think I would forgo with his services on video. I will need sounds and lights that is more reasonable.
No singing so I don't need to ask him to get bands/artists in the end.

COORDINATOR
I can say that meeting these people especially the coordinator, made me feel that I have everything in-control since I was able to answer all their supplier questions on who would do the following:
- church / hotel
- flowers
- meal preference
- photographer(s)
- make-up

The coordinator was super nice to have really made the time to meet me when I phoned them up at around lunchtime and met them before I literally went to the airport. Now that's customer servicing! I had a very good and wonderful impression from them and they didn't cost an arm and a leg in the end!

I was able to get some information about the following too:
- photographer(s) : their differences
- videographer's importance
- affordable designers
- meal logistics suggestions
- value of investing in your floral arrangements : especially at the church

Overall, it was a great indication that a partnership would be a good one. Ironically, they were referred to me by the 2nd photographer...so I kinda felt bad about not getting the Photographer 2 in the end of all this and benefit through his referral.
